ExplainAI™ is an AI literacy learning platform designed for non-technical professionals, managers, communicators, and anyone who wants to understand artificial intelligence clearly — without the overwhelm of technical jargon. The mission: "Understand AI. Explain it with confidence." The platform features 22 full courses plus 5 Quick Lessons (under 5-minute mini lessons) spanning topics like AI Fundamentals, Generative AI, AI Ethics, Prompt Engineering, and Communicating About AI — with new courses added every 2 weeks. Each lesson is 4–6 minutes of reading, written in plain English, with embedded quizzes, a "How to explain this simply" section, and Read Aloud narration powered by ElevenLabs.
Non-technical professionals, executives, and communicators are increasingly expected to understand and explain AI — but existing resources are either too technical, too shallow, or don't teach people how to communicate about AI with confidence.
We built a mobile-first learning platform using React, Supabase, and Google Gemini AI. The platform combines structured micro-learning, an AI Tutor, voice-based speaking practice, gamification mechanics, and Stripe-powered subscriptions to create a comprehensive AI literacy experience.
