ASCS 2027 — from one Save the Date to a whole campaign.
A flexible visual identity for Advances in Sleep and Circadian Science 2027, built to carry the conference from announcement through launch and beyond.

The Sleep Research Society was bringing Advances in Sleep and Circadian Science to Austin in February 2027. Stephanie designed the original Save the Date, then proposed and built a wider campaign identity for email, social posts, stories, newsletter graphics, and reusable Canva templates. The work ran from August 2025 through September 2026, with assets timed to SRS’s conference milestones.
The conference needed a distinct look for its new city that could still feel credible to a scientific audience. Requests would arrive in waves across a year, so SRS needed more than one-off graphics: a system its staff could use and adapt as the program took shape.
Stephanie scoped the work in two phases, putting launch assets ahead of the program book so each milestone could go out on time. Illustrated Austin lettering, a skyline sketch, brick textures, and purple-and-orange waves created a consistent visual vocabulary. When SRS asked to put the science first and Austin second, the registration graphics shifted to photo-led layouts with the city art as an accent. The final handoff included editable speaker, testimonial, and blank branded templates.
One identity, many moments
Matching graphics for conference announcements, registration, and poster abstracts across email headers, social posts, stories, and newsletter artwork.
Science first when the brief changed
Reworked registration creative around lab photography and the full conference name, keeping the Austin artwork as a supporting accent.
A handoff the team could use
Canva-editable speaker and attendee testimonial layouts, plus blank branded backgrounds, gave SRS room to continue the campaign independently.
Designed around actual deadlines
A phased plan kept launch work moving while program content was still in progress, with scope dates checked before they appeared in graphics.
